How to Schedule Across Time Zones

For remote teams, finding a meeting time that works globally is a recurring challenge. Our Time Zone Converter makes it simple: enter your proposed time, add all participant cities, and instantly see what time it is in each location.

Understanding UTC Offsets

UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the global time standard. Every time zone is defined as an offset from UTC — for example, New York is UTC-5 (EST) or UTC-4 (EDT during summer). Our tool displays the current offset for each city automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the Time Zone Converter?

Select a reference date and time using the date/time picker, then add up to 6 cities from the dropdown. Each card shows the exact local time and date in that city, highlighted with a business hours indicator.

Which time zones are supported?

We support 38 major time zones covering every major city globally, including all US time zones, European capitals, Middle East, South/Southeast Asia, East Asia, Oceania, and African hubs.

Does it automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time (DST)?

Yes. We use your browser's built-in Intl.DateTimeFormat API which automatically applies the correct DST offset for the selected date. So if you pick a summer date, US Eastern will show EDT (UTC-4) instead of EST (UTC-5).

How can I schedule a meeting across multiple time zones?

Enter your desired meeting time in the reference date/time field, add all participant cities, and the tool will instantly show what local time that corresponds to for each participant. Look for times where all zones show a green Business Hours badge (9am–5pm).

Is my data sent to a server?

No. All time calculations use your browser's native JavaScript Date and Intl APIs. No data is sent to any server, and the tool works offline once loaded.
